Your responsibility as a Customer Service Advisor is responsible for delivering high quality support to customers by responding to enquiries, resolving issues, and providing clear information about energy services, billing, and account management. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer first attitude. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, the Customer Service Advisor helps ensure that every customer receives an efficient, positive, and professional experience.
This position follows a hybrid working pattern, with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days from home. After successful completion of the probation period, advisors may be eligible to transition to fully remote working, depending on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer enquiries across phone, email, and live chat channels
- Provide clear, accurate information on billing, payments, tariffs, meter readings, and account-related queries
- Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining high levels of empathy and professionalism
- Process account updates, adjustments, and service requests in line with company procedures
- Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and offer relevant solutions
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions and actions taken
- Work with other internal departments (billing, technical support, field services) to ensure consistent and effective resolutions
- Meet individual and team service targets, including response times and customer satisfaction metrics
- Support new processes, system changes, or service improvements as required
