- Full Description:
Our client is looking for an energetic and approachable Store assistant to join their busy team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the women’s department of a high end clothing retailer. You will support all aspects of daily retail activities by providing warm, attentive, and knowledgeable customer service, helping shoppers feel welcome and confident in their purchases. This includes offering styling suggestions, sharing product knowledge, and ensuring each customer enjoys a positive in store experience. The Store Assistant takes responsibility for maintaining high presentation standards by keeping the sales floor organised, ensuring merchandise is displayed correctly, and supporting visual merchandising initiatives. In addition, they assist with sales processes, stock replenishment, and general store upkeep. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a friendly and proactive attitude, and a genuine interest in women’s fashion and current trends. There is a Full Time (37.5 hours per week) and a Part Time (21 hours per week) position available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide styling advice and product information
- Assist customers in finding sizes, colours, and suitable outfit options
- Process sales transactions accurately at the till
- Promote current offers, loyalty programmes, or new arrivals
- Maintain clean, tidy, and visually appealing sales floors and fitting rooms
- Replenish stock on shelves and rails throughout the day
- Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
